Second Form
This is my Second Form web page. I was promoted to second form when school reopened on August 29, 2005. My grades from the first form end of year examinations were reasonable but should have been better in a few subject areas. My problem was, if I really love a subject and feel very comfortable with it, I tend not to allocate sufficient time while preparing for that subject. This results in very silly mistakes and I am sometimes very upset with myself when I see some of these mistakes. Sometimes it is very difficult for me to accept that I made some of these mistakes.
There were a few grades with which I am not particularly happy especially my Information Technology grades because my dad is an Information Technology specialist and he expects that I should do much better in this area. I think he is right because he does help me quite a lot. Anyway it is my intention to do much much better in second form and beyond.
Activities of Summer 2005
I traveled overseas this summer and a highpoint was a tournament that my kwoon entered towards the end of June. This tournament was put on by the Seido Karate Organization. I entered the Empty Hand, Sparring and Weapons events. Pictures taken at the tournament can be viewed in the Flash gallery. In all of these pictures, I am wearing my green satin uniform. However, the most important thing that took place during this summer was my Black Sash Examination. Needless to say, I did very well and was promoted to the ranks of a black sash.
